"The Second Conference on
"Protection of Buildings Against Fire"
The second Conference on"Protection of Buildings Against
Fire" was held on 20th -21st Feb. 2007, at
the Conference hall of MHUD. The opening lecture was presented by
Prof.Heidarinejad, BHRC President. Eleven papers were totally
presented at this seminar in the day and in the second day, a
training workshop was held. The workshop subjects were as follow:
-Principles & rules of fire protection of buildings,
-Standards for exit way in accordance with "section 3" of Building
National Regulations,
-A review on classification methods of building materials with
regard to fire sefty and introduction to anti fire
coverings,
-An introduction to material & choosing methods in stop fire
systems & relative standards, -An introduction to material, execution & design on dry wall
systems and total their specification to fire,
-An introduction to material & thermal insulating systems and
their behavior to fire,
Beside the Conference an exhibition was held on "Fire Safty of
Buildings" by the presence of many companies. |

"Visit of BHRC"
Two professors named Dr. wickstrom & Dr. Adl-Zarabi from the
department of fire technology at the Swedish National Testing and
Research Institute (SP), met with Dr. Heidarinejad, BHRC
president on 17th, Feb., 2007, at BHRC. The meeting
was arranged by Fire & Building department for discussion on
Conference "Protection of Building Against Fire". They visited
Fire department, Material and Products department & Thermal
Insulation Laboratory to get familiar with the BHRC activities.
Also they visited Millad tower in Tehran.
