In Iran Second National Conference on Urban Environment Adaptation
Tehran Dardasht St. Adaptation Design was chosen as the best
Adaptation Design of Tehran Dardasht St. to Promote it to be Barrier-free for Disables, was chosen as the best design by Tehran Municipality in Second National Conference of City Environment Adaptation.
This design was performed by Engineer Neda Rafizadeh, the member of BHRC Scientific Board and by the cooperation of Region 8 Municipality with the purpose of adapting one of the main streets of this region (Dardasht) for Promotion of Barrier-free for Disables.
This design was started in 2004 at BHRC Housing and Building Systems Department and was completed in 2005. Engineer Masoud Ghasemzadeh and Engineer Farhang Tahmasebi were the people dealing with implementation of this design.
Second national Conference on Urban Environment Adaptation was carried on in December 11th, with the presence of organizations, institutes and Municipality different regions in Summit Meeting Conference Hall.
